Opportunity
Opening doors to real possibilities.
New Ways creates real opportunities for people who are ready to build a better future—whether adapting to work with a prosthetic or orthotic device or rebuilding after substance use.
We provide the opportunity. You put in the work.
We connect motivated participants with referral sources, employers, and supporters who are willing to create a pathway to meaningful, sustainable employment.
The goal is not simply a placement. It is a stable, independent life built through opportunity, preparation, coaching, accountability, and work that matters.
Success is measured by opportunity earned and lives changed.
Each pathway is built around practical support, real-world work, and personal accountability.
For individuals using a prosthetic or orthotic device who are ready to enter, re-enter, or advance in the workforce.
We focus on ability, adaptation, and support—helping participants find practical new ways to do things and succeed in real-world jobs.
For individuals beginning or continuing recovery from substance use who are ready to rebuild their lives through employment.
We provide a bridge from treatment to the workplace—helping participants regain purpose, stability, and confidence through real work and accountability.
Participants are referred by partners or apply directly.
We learn the participant's goals, skills, strengths, and needed adaptations.
We connect the participant with the right employer and prepare for success.
Participants complete a paid work placement with coaching and support.
The employer has the opportunity to hire, and the cycle helps the next person.
Prosthetists, orthotists, therapists, rehabilitation professionals, treatment centers, IOP programs, and community organizations identify people who may benefit from the program.
Local businesses provide real work opportunities, mentorship, and a place for participants to demonstrate their skills, reliability, and potential.
Businesses, foundations, and individuals invest in wages during placements and program operations so more people can move forward.
This is not a handout. Participants must apply, meet program requirements, show up, work hard, follow guidelines, and hold themselves accountable.
Participants, employers, referral partners, and supporters can all be part of the mission. Use the form to start the conversation.
